Below is an editorial by Mohamed Zayed and David Otto, published by the British newspaper News Week, which talks about the role of the son of the rais, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi in Libya. Mohamed Zayed is the president of the African Council for socio-economic development (AACSED) and special envoy of the legal and technical team of Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi. He is considered an expert on the subject of Libya and the MENA region, in conflict resolution, peace-building initiatives, tribal government, counter-terrorism, counter-insurgency, anti-money laundering. In the past he has often dealt with support for terrorism and militias by state sponsors. David Otto is instead the director of TGS Intelligence Consultants Ltd and of the program for the prevention of radicalization and violent extremism - Step In Step Out (SISO) - based in the United Kingdom. He is also Senior Counter Terrorism Advisor for Global Risk International.
